Our Christian Values

As a Christian school, we are committed to providing our children with a solid social and moral grounding, rooted in biblical teaching. Each month, we focus our collective worship on a different gospel value, such as forgiveness. An explicit and implicit focus on these gospel values promotes and celebrates the social, cultural and moral development of our pupils. The spiritual development of pupils is a significant strength of the school, and is evident in the every day interactions of all of our children.

This month’s gospel value is:

KS2 Eucharist Service July 2018

The year 5 and 6 pupils took part in an end of year service led by Rev Tracey and Y6 children. Rev Tracey blessed the Y6 children and prayed for their journey through high school. She welcomed the Y5 pupils into their final year at Cinnamon Brow and spoke about the messages of Holy Communion. In September the Y6 pupils will begin the Confirmation Classes. A letter to explain will be given to all Y6 pupils in September.

Bible Week

Bible-Week-Logo-2 From 14th – 18th March 2016, Cinnamon Brow celebrated Bible Week. This was a reflective week, filled with fun and thought provoking bible stories and activities. The children also benefited from having visitors from the Church of the Resurrection coming into school to read them bible stories and to discuss their faith. Pictures, and further information, can be found here, on the church webpage. During this week, Years 3 and 4 were asked to draw a representation of what they thought God looked like. The children rose to the challenge admirably, and some of their artwork can be viewed by following the link below. This is my God

As usual, KS1 and KS2 both had the opportunity to attend a wonderful Easter service at The Church of the Resurrection. Photographs from the KS1 Easter service can be viewed here.
