Through the scheme of delegation, the Local Governing Board operates through the authority of Emmanuel Diocese of Liverpool Academies Trust Directors Board. Information regarding the multi-academy trust may be found here:

At Cinnamon Brow CE Primary, our Local Govering Board supports the Multi-Academy Trust by helping to shape the direction of the school and ensure it provides a safe, welcoming learning environment with a Christian foundation and provides high-quality education for all pupils. They bring a range of skills and experience, working alongside the Headteacher and staff to support the school’s aims and values. Our governing board is made up of people from a range of different backgrounds including: parents, staff members, and community representatives including linked to the church.  The standard term of office for a governor is 4 years. The chair and vice-chair are elected every year. 

Governors play an important role in monitoring progress, challenging and supporting leadership, and making sure resources are used effectively. They review key information about learning, attendance, safeguarding, and pupils’ wellbeing, so that decisions are based on evidence and the needs of the whole school community.

We value strong partnerships with parents and carers. If you would like to learn more about our Local Governing Board or share your views, please contact the school office. We welcome constructive feedback and are committed to transparency, so families understand how the school is governed and how improvements are planned.
