Concerns and Complaints

At Cinnamon Brow CE Primary, we want you to feel confident that your concerns will be listened to and handled fairly. If something worries you about your child’s learning, wellbeing, safety, or the day-to-day running of the school, please raise it as soon as possible. Early communication helps us address issues promptly and work together to find a suitable solution.

We ask that concerns are raised in a respectful and clear way so that we can understand what has happened and what you are asking for. Wherever possible, please include relevant details such as dates, names of staff or pupils involved, and what outcome you are seeking. This will help the school to investigate properly and respond appropriately. If your concern relates to a specific incident, please avoid discussing it publicly and instead bring it to the attention of the appropriate member of staff.

Most concerns can be resolved through discussion with the class teacher or another relevant staff member. If you feel the issue has not been resolved, you may request that it be considered through the school’s complaints process. Our aim is to treat all parents consistently, keep you informed at each stage, and ensure that any complaint is handled in line with our policies and in accordance with guidance for schools in England.
